Australia Post offsets emissions from 108 million parcels
Since 2019, Australia Post has offset the carbon emissions of all parcel deliveries made via Post Offices and My Post business customers. For each delivery placed, Tasman Environmental Markets (in partnership with Qantas Future Planet) calculates and retires the equivalent number of carbon offsets. The purchase of these carbon offsets matches the environmental impact of each parcel that is delivered. Australia Post supports to a portfolio of offsets projects that fund the wellbeing of traditional custodians, as well as protect the natural environment.
