Sarah Scopel

Sarah is an accomplished finance executive, bringing to TEM over 16 years’ experience spanning the advisory and corporate sectors across a diverse range of businesses, including energy & resources, entertainment, healthcare and retail. Sarah is passionate about elevating the strategic contribution of finance functions through fostering collaboration and connection to people and purpose across businesses at all levels.

 

Sarah commenced her career in Macquarie’s Investment Banking Division and was part of Macquarie’s original renewable energy and climate change advisory team. She was most recently Group Treasurer of Woolworths Group and has held senior finance roles at GenesisCare, The Star Entertainment Group, Caltex Australia Limited (now Ampol) and Origin Energy Limited.

 

Sarah’s governance experience includes prior roles as a Board Director of the Australian Corporate Treasurer’s Association, member of the Scouts NSW Board Asset and Investment Committees, elected member of the Bond University Limited company and Bond University Nominations Advisory Committee.

 

Sarah is graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and is a Chartered Accountant. Sarah holds an MBA (Executive) from the Australian Graduate School of Management (UNSW), Bachelor Degrees in Finance and Commerce from Bond University, has completed a diploma in Business Strategy & Financial Acumen through the INSEAD online program and a Harvard online Data program.
