Webjet’s Sustainable Traveller carbon offset program wins 2021 Australian Business Awards
On the eve of celebrating its first anniversary, Webjet’s passenger carbon offset program Sustainable Traveller has won in the Business Sustainability and Business Innovation categories at the Australian Business Awards.
Powered by our BlueHalo® climate technology, the program enables Webjet customers to ‘tick the box’ and neutralise their travel footprint. The program has offset 13,500 tonnes of carbon pollution in its first year, at a time when travel was heavily restricted due to COVID-19.
