David Tow

Managing Director, Asia Pacific and Head of Climate Positive

David Tow has worked in domestic and international carbon markets since the early 2000s and has deep experience in international project development, having directed projects for the World Bank and Asian Development Bank and overseen the implementation of multiple projects across the renewable energy, transport, nature-based and urban sectors across the Asia-Pacific region.

His key management roles include Chief Operating Officer, Asia-Pacific, for Snowy Mountains Engineering Corporation (SMEC) and the founding CEO for Perenia Carbon, funded by SMEC, Mitsui and Pacific Hydro.

David was an Executive Director within the NSW Department of Premier & Cabinet and advised governments on climate change policy and the delivery of carbon-neutral precincts and urban transformation projects, including Barangaroo (NSW), Bays Precinct (NSW) and Fishermans Bend (Victoria).

David holds qualifications in Economics and Urban Planning.
