Story in a teacup

Through the Qantas Future Planet partnership, TEM has supported T2 Tea in achieving 100% carbon neutrality.

T2 Tea has calculated the operational footprint of their head office, Australian distribution centre and retail stores across the globe. The company first tackled a reduction in GHG emissions to lower the organisational carbon footprint with all remaining operational emissions offset through Winds of Change renewable energy projects in India, chosen specifically to nurture a corner of the planet that produces T2 Tea’s core product.

TEM is providing project due diligence, offset procurement and retirement services for T2 Tea while supporting the storytelling behind the significant additional benefits for rural communities and the environment delivered through their commitment.

“We put a lot of energy into ensuring that we can source our teas and teawares in sustainable ways, that we offset our carbon footprint and that we are continuously looking for ways to remove, reduce, recycle or replace packaging in our supply chain.

When everyone makes small changes, before you know it, a positive difference has been made. At T2, it is core to how we are doing business and we know our customers expect and deserve no less.”
