Marketing Manager

Location: Sydney or Melbourne

Employment: Full-time

Your team: Marketing & Corporate Affairs. No direct reports.

Purpose of role

In this exciting period as TEM continues to grow, this role will play a key role in promoting and growing TEM’s brand and customer engagement, retention and acquisition. It will support the implementation of TEM’s new Marketing and Corporate Affairs strategy and produce, coordinate and help monitor a range of marketing materials for TEM’s marketing channels, as well as events.

Key responsibilities
  • Developing effective marketing plans that deliver the organisation’s strategic objectives.
  • Preparing a wide range of innovative marketing collateral for TEM customers and their end customers, such as social media posts and eDMs/newsletters. This includes creating graphics using Canva and using HubSpot and LinkedIn.
  • Helping manage the team’s busy marketing calendar, including scheduling and publishing content on owned channels.
  • Helping monitor and report on marketing performance and social channels’ growth and engagement metrics.
  • Identifying and managing sponsorship opportunities.
  • Developing and managing events.
  • Building relationships with key external stakeholders, including customers, to bring our marketing and corporate affairs strategy to life, as well as helping customers to confidently communicate about the impact of their carbon offsetting.
  • Collaborating with the broader business to uncover insights that inform future marketing activities.
Other duties

Fulfil other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required.

Your Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have sound business acumen and conceptual thinking skills whilst being passionate about being part of a high performing team that has a reputation and track record within the carbon market.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to create a range of marketing materials for different B2B audiences and their customers.
  • (Ideally) Canva design skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment in a small team.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Highly proficient with technology such as Microsoft Office/PowerPoint, SharePoint and email marketing platforms.
  • Proven skills in digital marketing campaign development and marketing automation.
Key experience required from applicants for this role:
  • 3 years+ experience in a B2B marketing role.
  • Experience with sustainability related marcomms is an advantage.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive and deliver marketing outcomes to meet strategic objectives.
  • Experience across a range of digital marketing channels, including strong email marketing campaign experience.
  • Experience developing and implementing marketing plans that drive measurable results.
  • LinkedIn content creation and optimisation/analytics experience.
  • Events experience, (ideally) including supporting industry conference activities and running online customer events.
  • SEO, SEM experience.
  • Website CMS experience.
  • (Ideally) HubSpot experience.
